Denise joined the Central Lakes Trust team on 8 April 2024, bringing nearly 20 years of experience as a senior HR practitioner in HR operations and management. She has worked across many sectors, starting in private enterprise before transitioning to public service and not-for-profit organisations operating in public health, education, and social services.

Denise most cherishes the opportunity to apply her values-driven approach while working for a charitable organisation committed to making a positive impact on the community. She finds it deeply rewarding to contribute her expertise to an entity focused on philanthropy and enabling meaningful initiatives.

When not at the office, you'll usually find Denise outdoors getting covered in mud! An avid explorer of Central Otago's natural beauty, she enjoys hiking, biking the region's many picturesque cycle trails, and practicing pottery. Denise embraces any chance to get outside and experience the landscapes through active pursuits or creative hobbies.
